RICHMOND, Va. Acceptance into the ECNL Regional League for these clubs was based on exceptional performance in a number of different national leagues and competitions around the country.

Over the past 2 years, collectively, the 37 clubs founding these five new ECNL Regional Leagues include teams that have won more than 50 USYS State Championships, nine USYS National League Conference Championships, six US Club Soccer National Cup Finalists or Championships, seven Elite Academy League National Finalists, and six E64 Conference Championships.
