The US Youth Soccer Leagues program features the National League and a network of 13 conferences (formerly known as US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues) across the country. The competitions provide teams with the highest possible level of competition at the national and multi-state levels. The national tier is known as the US Youth Soccer National League. Established in the 2007-08 season, the National League provides annual competition for the best US Youth Soccer teams in the country to play each other in meaningful games with increased exposure to college coaches and scouts. Every season features teams that each earn a place in the league and compete for division titles, as well as berths to the annual US Youth Soccer National Championships. The re-imagined Leagues Program commenced in the Fall of 2018 and features a network of US Youth Soccer Conferences (formerly known as regional leagues) that are geographically focused, under one leadership and management structure, and linked into the highly successful National League and National Championship Series. US Youth Soccer National Championship Series The US Youth Soccer National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions for boys and girls teams in multiple age brackets as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to the regional championship tournaments. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams through US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues in most age groups are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The champions in the 13U through 19U age brackets from each regional event will converge in July for the US Youth Soccer National Championships. In 2017, over 600 coaches attended the US Youth Soccer Regional and National Championship events. US YOUTH SOCCER PRESIDENTS CUP US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events will determine the regional qualifiers that will compete in the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. Regional winners in the 13U through 18U/19U groups, both boys and girls, will vie for the national title. ECNL As a result of grassroots collaboration and innovation driven by youth soccer leaders all around the country, the ECNL quickly rose to national prominence – and ultimately to be the top level of competition and player development in the country. Each step was fueled by a shared commitment to elevating the youth soccer experience. From inception, the ECNL consistently developed in alignment with the needs of its member clubs, always seeking opportunities to lead and provide more, no matter the challenge or adversity. The four letters “ECNL” have become the embodiment of collaborative innovation, opportunity, respect, development, and excellence in youth soccer, as the once-radical idea of clubs having a voice to determine their future proved to produce results never before seen in youth soccer. Unrivaled numbers of female players, of constantly improving quality, began moving on to the collegiate, professional, and national team levels as the ECNL impact changed youth soccer. In 2017, the landscape again demanded more and the ECNL Boys was founded, setting the stage for an amazing period of rapid growth, increasing quality and further change in youth soccer. Starting with 57 of the top boys clubs in the country, the creation of the Boys ECNL once again demonstrated how a total commitment to improving the experience of players, coaches, clubs, and the environment in which they develop, can change everything. Today, the ECNL represents the epitome of excellence in youth soccer, for boys and girls, as the league and its clubs, players, coaches, and everyone involved seeks to constantly “Raise the Game” for the future. We are The ECNL and we are More Than A LeagueThe ECNL consists of two youth soccer leagues (male and female), each a non-profit, member-based 501(c)(3) organization, with independent governance and leadership structures. The ECNL Board of Directors and staff govern all programs and platforms. The ECNL is sanctioned by US Club Soccer. FIND US ON THE WEB
