LADY LEGENDS 08 BLACK REPEAT AS USYS MID SOUTH CONFERENCE CHAMPION

The Germantown Lady Legends 08 Black have won the 2021- 2022 US Youth Soccer Mid South Conference.

With a recorod of 5-0-2 (W-L-D), the Lady Legends 08 Black finished top of the table in the GU14 (2008) division.  During the campaign, the Lady Legends 08 Black scored 22 goals while allowing only 4 for a goal differential of +18.

Also, by their 3rd place fiinish in the GU14 Group D of USYS National League P.R.O. League, the Lady Legends 08 Black have secured a place in the 2022 US Youth Soccer National Championships (July 19- 24).

"This is a special team of girls.  Not only are they a fantastic team but they are a very intelligent group of soccer players.  The sky is the limit for this group of players and I believe they have the mental toughness to not just rest on making it to the Final 16.  This is a group that wants to win and will have the goal of making it this far every year", Carey Talley, head coach.

US YOUTH SOCCER MID SOUTH CONFERENCE
The US Youth Soccer Mid South Conference is one of 13 Conferences under the US Youth Soccer Leagues Program in the Multi-State Tier.  The Mid South Conference consists of teams primarily from Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.  The top teams in the Conference will earn advancement to the US Youth Soccer Regional Championships, part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, as well as a chance to earn a coveted spot in the National Tier of the Leagues Program, the US Youth Soccer National League.

US YOUTH SOCCER NATIONAL LEAGUE P.R.O.
National League P.R.O. represents the top level of competition within the USYS National League, and it features play for boys and girls teams in the 14U (2008), 15U (2007), 16U (2006), 17U (2005), 18U (2004) and 19U (2003) age groups.  The 2021-22 season includes up to 48 teams per gender age group.

For each gender, National League P.R.O. will qualify 12 teams per age group directly into the 2022 USYS National Championships, where the National League P.R.O. representatives will join the four USYS Regional Champions to compete for the USYS National title.
