Open to ALL Future Legends, Jr. Legends and Legends (U7- U19 Boys & Girls) registered soccer players, the 2nd Annual Turkey Cup is a time to just let the kids play some soccer.

All players should bring water, appropriate size soccer ball and wear shin guards under their socks to all sessions.

The Germantown Legends Coaching Staff will be conducting small-sided games at the Germantown Soccerplex.  While skill levels will range from beginner to advanced, players will be divided by age and or skill level.

Come join us as we participate in the 2013 Germantown Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 14th (Rain date Sunday, December 15th).  We will WALKING and handing out Candy and Flyers during the parade. (We are NOT allowed to throw candy into the crowd.)

While the parade will begin staging at 12:30 PM in the northbound lanes of Kimbrough Road (between Farmington Boulevard and Dogwood Road), Float judging will begin at 1:00 PM.  The Parade begins (moving) at 2:00 PM.

To ensure everyone’s safety, drop-off vehicles are not allowed in the staging area (northbound lanes on Kimbrough Road). Simply drop off passengers in the southbound lanes on Kimbrough Road in the the designated area according to parade entry number (TBD).

ANYONE connected to the HappyFeet/ Germantown Legends Soccer Programs is welcome to participate..........Players, Coaches and Parents.

Please wear any HappyFeet, Future Legends, Jr. Legends, TOPSoccer or Legends Spiritwear, Practice Gear or Uniforms, and or 'accessorize' for the Holiday Season,......even Christmas Sweaters are welcome!

Formally called the Academy Program, the Future Legends SKILLS CLUB is for U7- U10 Future Legends players.

  • Eight one-hour training sessions per season.
  • Training sessions led by Legends staff
  • Prerequisite for the Academy Team or Legends competitive program
  • Skills Club Program is designed to prepare the player for the Academy Team and competitive play
  • All players will receive a Skills Club Training Top.




New for the Spring 2014 Season,...the Germantown Legends is fielding a U8 Future Legends ACADEMY TEAM.  

  • Limited spots available, please plan to attend any of our upcoming small-sided game sessions (including Turkey Cup, Assessment Day, etc.)
  • Each boys and girls team will have a licensed coach.
  • Up to two practices per week
  • One game or 'festival' per week during the Spring season
  • Academy Team outdoor practices begin in February 2014.

Focus of the program is to prepare your son or daughter for the rigors of competitive play and beyond.

Please register online in advance of attending 'Assessment' Saturday.






This course is designed specifically for the U6 to U8 coach.  During the three hour of classroom and field instruction, coaches are taught the proper techniques for this age group.

This is a two part course.  Part one is going online and going through a 45 minute online section of coaching U6- U8.  This online instructing has video, reading text and quizzes to help learn about the selected specific age group.  It covers laws, coaching methodology, player characteristics, safety and how to work with players of the specific age group.  During the course coaches can stop anytime and comeback even days later till they can finish it.

Following the online course they can attend a 2-hour on field session and get their Youth Module license.  The field part is optional, but required for the Youth Module License.

The cost of the Youth Module Coaching Course is FREE for current registered TSSA members and all Germantown Legends Soccer parents and players, over the age of 14.

NOTE:  Future Legends Coaches who have obtained their Youth Module License will receive a FREE registration for child who they coach.



Skills Training Sessions are held each week for all Future Legends players.

For the Future Legends U6- U8 Boys & Girls, Skills Training Sessions are held each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5:30 PM at the Cloyes Soccer Park.

For the Future Legends U10 and U12 Boys & Girls, Skills Training Sessions are held each Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5:30 PM at the Germantown Soccerplex.

TOPSoccer - The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community-based soccer program designed to meet the needs of athletes with physical, developmental, and or intellectual disabilities.

Player participation and development are key elements of the program.  TOPSoccer is designed to improve the overall fitness, self-esteem and social skills of your athlete.

In short, TOPSoccer takes individuals from the sidelines to participating in the game.
