SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION
While registration continues for the 2014 Spring Rec Soccer Season, a small late fee is being assessed for registrations after Friday, January 31, 2014.
While practices begin in February, games begin on Saturday, March 1st.
Teams are forming now for the 2014 Recreational Soccer Season... limited space is available.

- Big Toes starting at 3-1/2 years of age
- Future Legends Recreational Soccer for U6- U10 Boys & Girls
- Future Legends 'SKILLS CLUB'... for U7-U12 Boys & Girls
- Jr. Legends Recreational Soccer for U12- U19 Boys & Girls
- TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities.

HappyFeet LEAGUE
The HappyFeet League is an excellent opportunity to see your little one showcase their soccer skills. Our weekend 'league' is a perfect way for kids 2.5- 5 to be introduced to organized sports. Our apprroach is one that maximizes fun and ensures kids will want to come back! We find that the parents enjoy the 'league' program just as much (if not more) than the kids!
The HappyFeet League is a seven week program consisting of one 55-minute session each Saturday.
Little Toes (2.5- 3.5) 10:00 AM
Big Toes (3.5- 5) 11:00 AM
The first HappyFeet League session is on Saturday, March 22nd at the Germantown Soccerplex.
Deadline to register is Tuesday, March 11.

Uniform Kits are available for purchase at Soccer U.S.A., the official soccer store and supplier of uniforms and spirit wear for all Germantown Legends Soccer programs. Future Legends and Jr. Legends programs use the same Uniform Kit.
Only new Junior Legends players need to purchase a Uniform Kit.
For those who do NOT have their Germantown Junior Legends 'Custom' Uniform Kit or would like replacement pieces, please visit Soccer U.S.A.

HappyFeet League players will receive their team shirt on the day of the first session (Saturday, March 22, 2014).

New for the Spring 2014 Season,...the Germantown Legends is fielding a U8 Future Legends ACADEMY TEAM.
- Limited spots available, please plan to attend any of our upcoming small-sided game sessions (Assessment Day, 3v3 sessions, etc.)
- Each boys and girls team will have a licensed coach
- Up to two practices per week
- One game or 'festival' per week during the Spring season
- Academy Players are welcome to participate in the Futsal Program (Off-season training)
- Academy Team outdoor practices begin in February 2014
Focus of the program is to prepare your son or daughter for the rigors of competitive play and beyond.
Please register online in advance of attending 'Assessment' Saturday.
WEEKLY SKILLS SESSIONS
Skills Training Sessions are held each week for all Future Legends players.

For the Future Legends U6- U8 Boys & Girls, Skills Training Sessions are held each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5:30 PM at the Cloyes Soccer Park.
For the Future Legends U10 and U12 Boys & Girls, Skills Training Sessions are held each Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5:30 PM at the Germantown Soccerplex.

Videos of each 'move or skill of the week' are posted on our Facebook page numerous times each week during the season.
Formally called the Academy Program, the Future Legends SKILLS CLUB is for U7- U10 Future Legends players.
- Eight one-hour training sessions per season
- Training sessions led by Legends staff
- Prerequisite for the Academy Team or Legends competitive program
- Skills Club Program is designed to prepare the player for the Academy Team and competitive play
- All players will receive a Legends Skills Club Training Top
YOUTH MODULE COACHING LICENSE
This course is designed specifically for the U6 to U8 coach.
This is a two part course. Part one is going online and going through a 45-minute online section of coaching U6- U8. This online instructing has video, reading text and quizzes to help learn about the selected specific age group. It covers laws, coaching methodology, player characteristics, safety and how to work with players of the specific age group. During the course coaches can stop anytime and comeback even days later till they can finish it.
Following the online course, they can attend a 2-hour on field session and get their Youth Module license. The field part is optional, but required for the Youth Module License.

The cost of the Youth Module Coaching Course is FREE for current registered TSSA members and all Germantown Legends Soccer parents and players, over the age of 14.
NOTE: Future Legends Coaches who have obtained their Youth Module License will receive a FREE registration for child who they coach in either the U6 or U8 Divisions.

The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community-based soccer program designed to meet the needs of athletes with physical, developmental, and or intellectual disabilities.
Player participation and development are key elements of the program. TOPSoccer is designed to improve the overall fitness, self-esteem and social skills of your athlete.
In short, TOPSoccer takes individuals from the sidelines to participating in the game.
