Adams and Thompson Signed to Play with Nashville SC

ADAMS (08) AND THOMPSON (09) SIGNED TO PLAY WITH NASVHILLE SC

Gracen Adams and Tucker Thompson have recently signed with the Nashville Soccer Club MLS Youth Academy.


Gracen will continue to play with Germantown Legends 08 Black as well and will play with NSC BU14s part-time.

 
Tucker will continue to play with Germantown Legends 09 Black as well and will play with NSC BU13s part-time.

The 2021- 2022 campaign is Nashville SC’s Youth Academy inaugural MLS NEXT season.

Gracen and Tucker are just the lastest Germantown Legends signing with Academy programs.

Nashville Soccer Club is a Major League Soccer team based in Nashville, Tennessee.  The team began play in the league in 2020 as a continuation of the USL club of the same name and plays its home matches at Nissan Stadium, with intention to move to a 30,000-seat stadium at the Nashville Fairgrounds to be constructed in the near future.  It is principally owned by John Ingram, owner of Ingram Industries, along with investors and partial owners the Turner family of Dollar General Stores and the Wilf family.

Major League Soccer (MLS) is a men's professional football league sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation, which represents the sport's highest level in the United States and Canada.  The league comprises 27 teams—24 in the U.S. and 3 in Canada—and plans to expand to 30 teams by the 2023 season.  Although not one of the "Big Four", the MLS, along with the Canadian Football League, is considered one of the "Big Six" major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada.

Major League Soccer was founded in 1993 as part of the United States' successful bid to host the 1994 FIFA World Cup.  The inaugural season took place in 1996 with ten teams.

MLS Next is a system of youth soccer leagues in the United States, with a few clubs in Canada, that is managed, organized and controlled by Major League Soccer.  It was introduced by the league in 2020. The system was introduced in mid-2020 and will be active for the first time during the 2020–21 season.
