What is the Future Legends Skills Club?
The Future Legends Skills Club is designed to develop young soccer players through their formative years and to give them all of the ingredients they need to succeed in the game at the highest level.  Players from an early age need to acquire the technical ability to master the ball and be proficient with both sides of their body.

Players are placed into age and ability groups to train once a week in addition to their core team, with expert professional staff.  The Legends staff will teach and develop these players to have the confidence, and the technical ability to enjoy the game and be successful at which ever level they find themselves upon their graduation from the Skills Club.

It is the Skills Club's primary aim to make soccer fun so that the vital ingredient of enjoyment is achieved at all times.

Once players complete at least one season of the Legends Skills Club Program, players may qualify to participate in our Future Legends Advanced REC Program or Legends competitive teams.  

The Future Legends Skills Club prepares kids to join our competitive program when they become age-eligible.  Joining our REC Skills Club is the best way to be scouted for this fun opportunity!

Who can participate?
The Future Legends Skills Club is for the player who wants to challenge themselves to reach the next level... with goal of playing at the High School, ODP or higher level.

While primarily for players in the U6- U10 (ages 6- 9) age groups, all Legends players are encouraged to participate, especially those who plan to eventually transition to competitive soccer.

The primary focus of the Skills Club is BALL MASTERY and FUN!

As the REC Skills Club is an 'extra' training session held each week, participants MUST also be enrolled in a Germantown recreation soccer program (Future Legends U6, U7 or U8).

  

Can my child play recreational soccer and Skills Club at the same time?
Yes!  As a matter of fact, the Future Legends Skills Club is designed to supplement the recreational soccer experience, not replace it. 

Skills Club players must be on a Germantown Recreational team in order to participate in the Skills Club Program.

When are the Future Legends Skills Club Training Sessions?
Germantown Future Legends Skills Club training sessions will be held one day per week, for a minimum of 8 sessions during the season.

 

What is the cost of the Future Legends Skills Club?
The cost is $85.00 for U6- U8 players; while FREE for the U9/U10s.

Where is it held?
All Future Legends Skills Club Training Sessions will be held at the Cloyes Soccer Park, unless otherwise stated on the Skills Club Training Schedule page.
